you really should loosen all of them if you are going to be aligning the clutches. Do you have an adjustable engine torque stop? Definately worth the money, keeps the alignment and center to center in check much better. If you don't have one, I usually set them up with a little bit longer center to center than recommended, along with the engine turned slightly clockwise from perfect alignment with the idea that under hard acceleration, the play in the rubber mounts will pull the engine into close to perfect alignment and center to center. Little tricks you learn along the way, but a torque stop takes out the guesswork.

There are three different points you can loosen the motor mounts in front(theres a bracket that bolts to the motor, the rubber mount that bolts to that and another bracket that bolts to the frame.I understand the motor mounts must all be loose,im just asking exactly where do i loosen them so i can move the motor around.

hauck and slp both have one, they are only about 20 bucks and are worth every penny for consistency in clutching. Really help to keep clutch and belt temps down, and allow you to align perfectly without having to offset. www.startinglineproducts.com or www.hauckpowersportsinc.com
