I dont really know all that much about modifying sleds, i just bought a 99 v-max 700 and i have a can, and reed spacers and weight transfer rods on the way, i was wondering about helix;s, i hear alot about them but dont really understand them or know which would be best to buy for my sled

A steeper helix will upshift faster & lower rpm,s. For your sled a 51/43 helix works great with a 3.6 gram inner rivet & a 2.1 gram oute if you have the 8cr weights.PM me if stuff is different.
