could i just use some brackets to drop the rear susp. so the sled looks higher? wondering if this will mess with my susp. geometry. anyone do this?

I want to do the exact same thing just for looks, I talked to moutain perf and they said there is no way without negativly effecting geometry. It looks like a wimp compared to the 4 strokes I ride with.

i came up with some measurements that keep the stock geometry, but i have not tested them yet. if you want them p.m. me.

On my mtn viper there are two different rear skid mounting holes. I dont know if this is the same with trail sleds though. If it is, you could drop it to the lower hole, let out some more length on your limiter straps, and tighten up the front and rear shocks for less sag for a more jacked up look.

As long as you set the ride back up the way it is supposed to be, it will be fine. Mine has a high rise seat on it and it isn't tippy. The front end is what you don't want to raise too much. So yes if you get the drop brakets you can just drop the rear. If you get the Mtn Perf ones you need to cut your top shaft and spacers. if you get the one from CB Perf you just bolt it in and go. So CBperf sells a drop down bracket for a bolt in install? How much lift do you get? Thanks

I raised mine 3.25 inches. You could probablly go as little as 2 inches. Give Bruce or Matt a call on them. I posted some pics of mine on here somewhere. Maxdlx

with these brackets do you have to drill new holes for the other shafts or just drop the one shaft?
