Just like some of you had requested, I have one really good trivia question for you guys and a lot of pictures of our vintage sleds. The winner of this trivia question will recieve 4" CB Performance Carbide for thier sled but they must pay shipping.

Here is the question

What is so rare/strange about the sled we have featured in the first three pictures?

That exciter has what looks to bo a 570 (new) exciter engine and twin pipes....is that what you're looking for?

SRXfromHELL is our winner here. I wasn't looking for anything specific just that it was liquid cooled because exciters were never liquid cooled. This 77 exciter has a 79 srx motor in it and is truly a sleeper.

SRXfromHELL, if you could let me know what sled this carbide is for and PM your address for shipping. Thanks for playing everyone.

that's a 79 srx with a exciter seat ,dash and hood. not just a srx motor in a exciter chassis. exciters didn,t have the side boots and wider ski stance....

It really threw me for a loop too....kept looking and wondering why there was a liquid in a exciter. 1st thought was a liguid GPX, but ruled that out quickly

78 or 79 chassis
76 or 77 lower end. or just the 76-77 ingition housing and recoil . you can tell by the coil mounts.
78 cylinders and heads . has small cylinder studs.
yes, 570 carbs
exciter hood , seat , dash
77 srx skis

77srx440 is correct however I just wanted you guys to figure out what makes this sled different then other "exciters" out there. As for the 78 pics, I will have to take pics of it next time I go down to the shop. Thanks
