Hoping someone has some info.I would like the best overall reg heel clicker set up for a piped viper.Which spring etc. Have a roller sec , several hellixes. Also the best overall h h set up . I don't know which one to go with and who has the best product. Who better to ask then the guys running them. any info would be appreciated.

well will need to know what helix angles you have to work with, spring selection you have to choose from. The only thing you have done to the viper is pipes? who's???

Thanks for the reply. Always like your input! Running bender pipes, speedwerx head, 8 tooth drivers,1 1\4 track 144 studs,(going to 192 ) 21\38 gear, vari flow,185 lbs. Have straight 47, bender supplied helix ?.Currently i'm running a roller rooster 41\37 ,but also have a 47\43 advantage helix from my srx.I don't know if i'm geared to low or what but i dont have much speed past 600 feet. Pulling good rpm 8650 to start to about 8800 finish. Have the stock 8ek's , h hitters , reg heel clickers ?

you said you want speed do you mean mph or do you want it quick in acceleration.

get a ski doo.............

hahahahhaaaaa...joking....

I would get some transfer rods, a good track, studs, slp pipes(triple pipes), a boost bottle, and or (bender)-(heel clicker) clutch system...ask i think, turk, he knows some good settings on this. :yam:

good choice on the heel clickers & the roller rooster. it sounds like your clutching is spot on. that's the way the tach should read.
right now you are geared for about 93 mph @ 1:1. why did you go with 8 tooth drivers?? they're killing your top end. 38/24=1.58 ratio will give you 106 mph @ 1:1. even with 9 tooth drivers 38/21 is toooo low a ratio unless you are doing short drag races.

I,m running the bender loaded up 8eks, also have heel clickers , and heavy hitters. The heavy hitters seem to work the best, just can't get a really good setup.

gearing is where I would start

I agree with buffalobob, your geared way too low, thats fine if your only running 4-500ft, but anything over that your way too low. With your 8 tooth drivers, your gear is a 2.08, you need to be geared about a low 1.7-ish ratio for good trail riding and decent field drag racing. 23/38 with your 8 tooth drivers is a 1.86, would be a big time change from what you have, personally, I would go a 23/37. Run the H/C weights, red spring, with the roller rooster 41/37 helix, run heel weight and just a tad of weight in the middle, leave the tip empty.

I,m surprised you guys are'nt recomending the HHitters, why not? I'm fine with the heel clickers but am worried that if i blow a belt they could break if the prim slams shut!Do you guys have a good heel cl set up ( amount of weight) mtviper i have bender pipes they recomend 8750 prm. You always stress no weight in the middle all tip weight( srx applications). Because we are running simular rpms should'nt i run more tip weight?

I believe 700 told you not to run tip weight because of your 37* helix angle. It will try to shiftout to fast if you add tip weight.
