anybody try this combo

I'm currently running with the 53/43 helix, grn spring and the ripsaw track on my 02 viper! I was thinking of changing to a 21 gear from the 22. I'm curious if anybody has tried this combo and how well it works! How much top end will I loose??

I have done this, well everything except the ripsaw. Noticable gain on bottom end (more spinning if you don't have great traction) and a slight loss in top end, maybe 1-3 mph in good conditions. The helix and spring really help the upshift a lot. Good traction is a must, as with any good setup.

i have the same set up with the ripsaw,but no gear changes yet!Thinking about doing what your thinking.I would think it would come out of the hole stronger than it already does,My sled is neck and neck with f-7 til 60-65 then he pulls away.I'm thinking that might help it pull harder til 90 or so.
