Trail riding poll

On weekends we drive to ride at the good places (1.5hrs). As soon as my house gets built I will be on the trail system, but that will be mid-week riding only.

I usually drive at least two hours to a great trail system either in Maine or NH. 3 to 4 hours puts me in the best trail system around.

50 miles to nearest trail system and many times there isn't snow. Live on Saginaw Bay, but riding on the bay is as boring as you can get.

Warm it up in the garage open the door and take off. I have some freinds that live in town and they sneak their way out. I told my wife it was a requirement when we looked for a new place. Put it high on your list when looking for a new place!!!!! ;)!

looks like a mix. if i want groomed trails i have a 30 min drive south(only go when we don't have snow here) or 3hr drive to tug hill or 4 hr drive to st.denon Q.B. or i can ride to groomed trails for about 30 miles and hit a trail system the next county over. lots of options

I keep my sleds up in northern Wisconsin. I can go down to the end of our driveway and that road is the trail. The issue is I am 15 miles away from Lake Namakagon where I usually meet the group. The trail used to be fast b/c it would be road 75% of the way. Then some farmer complained about his fields getting tore up and the town re routed it this past summer. From what I was told it adds about 5 more miles to the trip on windy trail. So I will most likly trailer out to the lake this year or just leave the sleds at a friends house.
