OK guys this should start a good one.
Somebody is interested in my srx and I may have found someone backing out on a snowcheck.
I have been a very loyal srx rider since snowchecking the original in '98.
What does everyone think, keep the excellent condition proven performer or go for the latest technology in its first production year.

Go for the new technology!
I am a huge SRX fan....and am looking for one for my garage.....but, you cannot compare these two sleds. Once you ride one, you will know what I am talking about. Get an Apex.....I guarantee that you will love it. If you have lots of $$$...keep both. The sound of that triple is music!

Yep..I found the handling of the Apex to be very similar to the SRX in terms of that planted, flat around the corners feel and as far as I can see the power is VERY similar. The only reason I'd even think SRX is for a cheap radar run sled...great sled and it has it's place..on a smooth sheet of ice lol.

I will never sell my SRX, but I'm planning on buying an Apex this spring. These are two very different machines. Time is making the SRX obsolete, and while I keep spending money on suspension upgrades and stuff to drop the weight there comes a point where the SRX cannot compete with the modern offerings. Is there any way that you could keep the old SRX and still get the Apex?

I rode an apex er last spring, it was amazing! fast and super planted. it is what everyone tries to make their srx into by long traveling it. a real fast, excellent handling trail sled that can fly on the lake. if you can get both, more power to you. if not and you are a trail rider and not a drag racing lake rider, get an apex
