Oil Injection

How do you get rid of the oil injection on a Phazer. I am not all that confident in the injection system. Should I be concerned?

You should be able to buy an oil pump block-off kit. Personally, I wouldnt worry about it. Ive never had an oil pump fail on any of my sleds.

Back in the early 90's my dad had a couple of phazers fail due to lack of oil. Was it pump failure or clogged line... All we did at that time was block off all lines, remove tank and pre-mix. Early GP1200's are prone to oil pump failures, but I don't know if the GP pump plug would fit the phazer.

Never had a Yamaha oil pump fail !
