look at all the lugs gone on this thing and he's tryin to sell it as "a few lugs missing" looks like he got a little trigger happy and went riding before there was any snow!!!

See, I want to get a Ripsaw but that's what I'm worried about, those tiny little lugs don't look very durable at all. I found the most durable track to be FULL BLOCK, and I still somehow manage to tear a nice few chunks out of it in one winter, I don't try to spin on rocks but sometimes it happens, I'm thinking rough ice might have something to do with it so I might install studs to keep track spin under control. 02 Viper and shopping for fourth track lol.

Have you tried the 9818? It has been an extremely durable track for me.

if its your 4th track then its just simply you and how you ride. you can't tear lugs like that in snow. i've even ridden it hard in low snow conditions and not done that much damage. you need to think about studs (however i think that will just waste more money cuz you'll bend or break them unless you stud A LOT) or a shorter lug profile.

ive had the ripsaw and it was excellent for putting up with abuse, that guy must have really got on the gas when he saw rocks.

I think I might try the Ice Ripper this time, same as the Ripsaw but with tiny car tire type studs, I don't really want to run push throughs, I never have. Usually what happens to my tracks is the layers come apart, the top layer with the lugs start to peel back, I usually cut them off but then I can't trust the track on a long ride. No track repair place around here either. The tracks I've changed were probably not completely shot, I just don't like to see the layers comming apart. I guess I'm gonna have to stop spinning the track so much, it's Yamahas fault for making it so much fun!
