I just took my brothers moded viper for a ride and noticed the track seems to be slipping off the main driver.. would this be changed my setting the transfer rods?

You need to tighten up his track, or if you want to run with a looser track put in a set of anti-ratchet drivers. Like the pic I attached

you need to jack up the back of the sled and pull down on the center of the track with a weight scale and pull around 20 pounds and it should'nt move more then about 1 inch.
you have to check with the service manual for that sled for exact measurements.

Make sure the front W-arm is not broken. I recently took my suspension in and out and no racheting. This weekend I was riding and the track racheted when I adjusted the transfer rods. Hmmm, I thought to myself the track must be too loose. I put the rods back to stock and in deep snow, it would still rachet. I tightened it up two turns (seemed like a lot!) and it was better. Nailed it once and it still racheted. Examined w-arm and both tubes on the right side were broken. Problem solved. Now I just need to find time to fix it!!
