I'm getting a boss seat. Heard the small LED light strip was all but useless. I'd like to come up with an alternate location for the taillight. Anyone come up with any good ideas? I've seen an F7 with the taillight located just above the bumper. I wonder how difficult it would be to do it to a viper?

On my mountain Viper I used the Yamaha rack on the extension and mounted the light on it. For a short track I would think you could bend a bracket and rivet it to the tunnel and mount light to it. There was a little wireing but it was pretty clean when I was done.

Boss seat tailight
Used an SLP 6" LED tailight, mounted it to the top of the snow shovel flap instead of at the bottom of the seat where Boss puts it. Works OK. My wifes MM has a rack that make the stock light unusable. Used the same light mounted in an aluminum channel, pop riveted to the top of the tunnel. Hope this helps.
