i've got a 98 srx 700 in need of a track. i ride trails pretty agressively and i was looking at the camoplast predator - any suggestions on the best track for this sled???
also, is this a 15x121 track for the stock srx 700?
can i use 1.25" lug or should i stay with 1"?
thx

I use a 9818 1.25" predator on my srx and love it, this track will not drop your top speed. Its a very good performing track and mine has been very durable.
Alot of people like the ripsaw as well. If you are looking to stud your new track, then I strongly recommend a 9830 1" predator.

ok thanks for the info - is your 1.25" not studded, and is the acceleration/braking still ok?
do they recommend a lower lug height w/studs? thanks again,
jim

Um the 1.25 lug track will take away your top speed.any lug taller then stock will theres just more air being moved.... which takes more power to move the taller lug you go..

It look's like the new hacksaw is going to be an awesome track.

Um, let me correct my statement.
"this track did not take away from my sleds top speed"

Relax...All that I am saying is that every 1.25" lug track will not cause the same loss in top speed.

Get a ripsaw and be done with it.

I ran a un-studded Ripsaw last year, and for 90% of the time it was flawless - no loss in top end and hooked great - got a little loose on hard pack roads - if you need studs, I would look at the Hacksaw - little more aggressive profile than the Ripsaw, but short enough lug to stud - best of both worlds - would not need as many studs either - just my 2 cents!
It's hard to beat a 9830 for the SRX. Hooks awesome, good top end, and has room for studs without having to change drivers. If you are POSITIVE you don't want to stud - then a ripsaw is a good choice and it doen't cost much top-end compared to other 1.25" tracks.
