2002 SRX Power Valve adjustment after cleaning

Is the plug connection for the power valve tool in the same location on the 2002 as it was with the earlier models?If it is then the one on my 2002 only has 2 wires,my wifes 98 had 3,and the tool worked great,cant get it to work on my 2002.Any one adjusted their power valves on a 2002?if so what is the procedure?Thanks-Harvey

my 01 only had 2 wires too. i used the tool/wire from maxx and it still worked great. let me know if you have anymore question..MAKE SURE YOU FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS, if you mix the wires you could burn down the cdi.
