1. I would look at your W-arm to make sure that it isn't cracking. The W-arms on the SRX are known to be weak.
2. A good carb cleaning can't hurt.
3. Clean and sync your powervalves.
4. Check carbides/hyfax for wear.
5. Grease your suspension/steering.
there's many other things, I'm sure someone else will chime in.

do a clutch rebuild as preventitive with those kind of miles. all the bushings and rollers in the clutch may be getting some slop. at least check it out

Search for "wire rub thru" for info on a quick fix for a known electrical issue. I would attach the link if I knew how...
I repaired the W-Arms on both my SRX's like this too. Both had cracks.

I would get you power valves set up!
I have seen the cables pull right out of the end of the powervalve if they are not set up properly

usually the cables pull through as a result of not enough cleaning. The carbon gets very sticky and then hard on the valves and they stick to the cylinders, so the cables break when the servo tries to open them.
How often should the power valves be cleaned and sync

Some say it depends on the type of oil but i normally clean mine every 1000kms or 625miles could go longer but it does take much time to clean.............James

I allready have it long travelled thanks, including raising the front by swapping mounts left to right. Just have to figure out the transfer rods.

With that amount of kilos, it wouldn't hurt to replace your rings. It is recommended to do this at about 7.5-8k. I would do this even if compression is good. Check your squish too because if heads have been planed then you could get a stock compression reading w/ weak rings. Also when carbs are out for proper cleaning, check for stock jetting. When I bought mine used it was quite rich, couldn't even idle for 10 sec on the line and it would load up. Went to stock jets and much crisper. Have fun! This is just one GREAT sled
