I seem to remember someone saying that they aren't actually made by Yamaha. I may be wrong though.
03Viperguy - I'm in the same boat as you. I just replaced my stock shield with a solid blue 10" and am considering a 2" riser, but know if I do so, that I'll need to go with some handguards. I really like the looks of those blue ones. Any idea what the full setup costs?

That's my warm weather windy. I still have my Cobra windshield for the colder days. I like how it only takes a minute to change the windshield on a Viper.
Even my Cobra windy is trimmed a little bit. lol

They are listed at $64.95 on the Yamaha site. I checked them out on the Nytro but didn't really care for the amount of coverage they offered. I went with the Powermadds so I had the option of running the Extensions. Oh, ajviper, do the riser you will be glad you did!

The Yamaha shields seemed a little on the small side IMO. Of course some don't like the Powermadds for that reason. I do agree though, that the Yamaha stuff looks real nice. Maybe a nice ride on a Nytro would tell how they work!
SRXRIDER - Nice Clean sled... It looks identical to mine (same add-ons). Are those the Powermadd guards in the pic? They look different then what I've seen in the catalogs and websites.
What type of riser did you go with?

Yes, those are the Powermadds. They might look different because of the spiffy little sticker Rox installs on them. (Of course they charge you a few bucks more for em' that way.) I used the Rox 2" risers as well. Very nice products.
Thanks for the props on the sled. I hear ya' about looking the same. Seems everyone's blue Vipers end up looking about the same after we put all the usual mods on them!
