Does anyone know an easy way for me too put my suspension back in. I'm stuck doing it by myself. I have it in the track but I'm having a hard time getting the W-arm bolts lined up. Should I have the back end up high or down low? Any suggestions would be great, I'm gonna try again tomorrow, I don't remember it being this hard on my mach z, but any help would be appreciated. I know it would be alot easier with help but all my buds here don't have a clue how to get there hands dirty. lol

not sure how an M10 is different from a stock srx suspension, but i recently did mine and mine is an M10
i had to use a ratchet strap to bring the rear end down to line up with the bolt holes in the tunnel.
Remember to start at the front and work back though.
Good luck, just a suggestion of what worked for me.

lossen up ur transfer rods where the 2 pices bolt together i found this lossens up teh suspention enough where u realy dont have to push and pull nearly as much to get the middle and rear bolts to line up

They all pretty much go back in the same way,
Some people like their sled on its side some like it with the back end up.Me I like all of them with the back end up, by either a warm up stand or block & tackle.
1st......Loosen the track just a little more than it took 2 get it out, then slide the front of the suspension in first from a 45 degree angle so the front rails just line up with the track windows.
#2.....A flat pry bar or long screwdriver will help U get it over the track clips or guides. You can control the track opening by lifting the back up or down, do so till you are able 2 slide the entire skid into the track.
#3....Put the front 2 bolts in 1st, then again by raising or lowering the back end do the middle and keep working your way 2 the back.
**....On some models you may have 2 use a ratch strap and compress the centre shock & skid 2 get the middle or end 2 bolts in, as well you may have to loosen the weight transfer rods to assist U in getting the last 2 bolts in.
#4..... Of course once done, B sure to check your track deflection and alignment, mask small adjustments on the adjusters to make the track move. Remembering 1/8 turn tightening means 1/8 turn loosening on the opposite side.
Over all it's really easy, might sound like a bit much. B Paient and just watch what your doing. After a while you will have them in & out in 20 minutes

loosen transfer rod bolts
make sure the rear shaft has been loosened all the way
put the front bolts in first
then the rear bolts
then the center...I usually put the sled on its skis to do this b/c as you add weight the center shaft is pushed up into the tunnel. You may have to work to get the shaft in place..it tends to catch on any rivet that's in its way.
I always found SRXs the hardest due to the space constraints imposed by the short shocks...

It's not that hard i can do mine by myself in a few minutes. What i find to be easiest is
You've got the skid in the track pull the track from behind and stretch it out with the rear of the sled lifted but not to high. Lay down and check where your W arm bolt points are now if i remember correctly the brackets have little ^ groves on them try to get them close and lower the sled a little bit check them again. Once you get em lined up, put your bolts in a little bit pull your track tight again so there is no slack up front. Now to do the last set of bolts skip the middle ones. Set the sled down slowly and check that the bushing ont he outside of the big wheels doesnt get caught between the tunnel and the bracket or on your heat exchanger. Lower it down until you have the holes lined up put your bolts in a little bit. now with the skid of the ground a little bit just enough to have a little track slop reach under and have your last bolt in the ratchet ready to go. While reaching up getting the middle shaft in place poke your head over the running board to watch your hole. Once you see it start your bolt in insert it almost all the way. Now run around to the other side it shoudl be easy to get this last one in...Install that last bolt go around tighten them all down. Then set her down as it should sit as it did before. Now tighten yoru track and go on with the rest.
This is what i have always done with my skid by myself, a pain you'll get angry and get busted knuckle but hey when does that not happen. Just remember Front Back Middle has always worked for me.
Good Luck hope this helped.

Doc has the easy/right way to do it. Also, is this not in the tech pages as well? If it is not, I will get Mr Sled the pics to do so.

Thanks guys, I wasn't taking the nuts off the transfer rods, so I'll try that tomorrow and see if I have better luck. I appreciate the help.

Tons of good advice here, as well as old posts on this . . .
Just remember it is all about letting the weight of the sled do the work for ya . . . If you are prying on things then you are going about it wrong.
I have done it every way conceivably possible, and have come to the conclusion that unless you practice it quite a bit, rolling it on it's side is one of the easiest ways. If you are going to do it several times a year, then using a seperate lift for the front and the back is the easiest. You have to learn what lifting or raising the front or back does to lining it up though. For some reason or another I do several sleds a year so I opt for the seperate lift approach.

i found once you get the front mounts done lift the skid up and place a good size log right at the bend of the rails and then lower the skid until the holes line up. works everytime, you dont have to loosen your track just make sure transfer rod bolts are all the way out. once the middle is done then tighten transfer rod bolts until the holes line up. just my 02 works slick for me
