I am putting a 02 Viper skid in my 1996 VMX800. Could some one check their Viper and advise the mearurement between boltcenters on the upper assembly and the measurement from the top of the tunnel down to the bolt centers. This would the be measurements as illistrated in WildMax's ProAction Tech post. One the pictures is posted for refernce. Distance between B and C. As you can see the rear shaft on this skid has 3 bolts securing a bracket that positions the rear shaft. From the attached picture of the Viper skid there is only one bolt holding the rear upper shaft to the tunnel.
Thanks,

More Info Needed
I was hoping that the middle Shaft "B" would have a distance of 3.94" from the top of the tunnel to the bolt center. n2oiroc you have measured 4.25"
Due to the difference of 0.31" I need a couple other dimmensions' verified.
The attached photo shows 4.5" between the center of the speedo housing (drive axle center) to the front swing arm of the skid noted as shaft A. Please measure this distance on the Viper and also advise its dimmension above parallel. (By this picture it appears to me that the shaft "A" is 0.5" higher then the drive axle center, this is the dimmension that I refer to as "above parallel) Also please provide the distance between "A" and "B" the attached picture shows this distance at 11.5"
The picture shows a dimmension of 2.88" from the bottom of the chassis. It can not be measured this way as the VMAX-4 and the Viper use different tubs.
I hope this makes sense and I appreciate your support.

I know that this is working backwards but I assumed that the "A" and "B" shaft dimmensions would be the same either sled.
