I just installed boyesen (power) reeds in my SRX because the stockers were worn out and was wondering about the jetting...according to the instructions its says that they make the sled run richer...I was thinking of jetting down on the mains one size...I ride at about sea level and the motor is stock...Any ideas....? Thanks

what are the coldest temps you ride in?
never colder than -20 F.

Personally I would test it first because i can't see the new reeds richening it up much. If you run it with the stock jetting and find that the plugs and piston wash show a real rich setup, go down one size on all the mains. I would rather lose 1 or 2 horse and be sure that on those -20 degree mornings she isn't going to squeek.

I put boysen's in my ski-doo and it did richen up quite a bit. even rejetting it never seemed to pull the clutching it used too. circular file'd, and put stockers back in... WA LA.. RPM's came back, sled ran good.
