Regarding my other post with limiter straps, rear suspension, etc..., Blow it off, that ain't the problem..
I see that my problem is a bent strut on my front shock! (tss susp).
The thing is bent a little bit inward, and it's frozen in the bottomed-out position. Can't believe it took this long to see, but there it is.
That's why the damn thing wants to go sideways. Problem diagnosed.
BUT!
What's it take to change one of those bad boys out? Is it a tough job? Do I change out the whole tower, or just the internals? Can I do it myself, or is it a must for a mechanic?
Again, thanks for any advice you can give me.

I have changed them before. Its not bad. Its just a internal cartridge....when out it looks like a std shock upside down. Remove the ski and shoe and then the can top and side panel. If you look in Yamahas parts finder you can print a exploded view....helps putting it back togather.
