I had my 87 exciter out a for a fe hours today. I forgot how hard it is to steer. You really have to work to get through the trails.
Off the ground the steering is fine.
I checked the manual for limiter strap adjustment. The front is set at the logest setting for the lightest ski pressure (Factory setting). The rear strap is at the longest setting for maximum travel. It said shortening the rear strap would reduce ski pressure. Is it worth the effort? Will I notice a difference?
It has carbides but was just as bad before.
There is a little play in the steering rods and the tss is tight.
Anyone have this problem? SHould I replace the tie rods? They seem fine but maybe if they were tighter I wouldnt have to turn as much????

the key is to get the sled suspension falt with the skis, thats why they want you to pull the limiters up.....
