nice sled, i would just change a couple things:
Change the back wheels to look the same as the blue ones in front.
Change the shock covers to blue flames instead of yellow
blue snow flap will make it stand out a lot
AND ONE MORE MAJOR THING! TAKE OFF THOSE BUTT UGLY MIRRORS! LOL

I love the paintjob though, those flames look awesome, and the viper seat looks much better than the sx seat.

Blue wheels are coming.
I went yellow on the shock covers to keep the same colour as the ohlin springs.
Blue snow flap if I can find one.
The mirrors are to see where all my non yamaha buddies are!
 
you can get a snow flap from bruce at CB performance or Port Yamaha. Good point on the mirrors. lol. again nice sled. What kind of track is that? Is that 136 or 144?
 
take the paint off tunnel and install the newer style viper/rx wheels and install a 02trailing arm decals, other than that looks good
 
Mike i see you got the flame kit,looks really great on the blue hood.Did you have any trouble with applying them.i think your sled looks alot better with new additions you have put on into it.

The track is a 136. Redmater, the graphics went on pretty easy. They look awesome! Great job and and excellent product! I changed the placement a bit from yours. Thanks again. ;)!
 
mike,just a little tip for you,when you wash your sled be sure that you go up the flame with you cloth or sponge if not you may lift the point of the flames.this applys as well to drying it off.
 
looks great. I liek the mirrors, makes it look wide. and why you get rid of reverse? I am jealous of the ohlins!! sweet ride

Thanks! The hood was a spare I had, the sled never had reverse. I'm looking for a reverse kit to install,if anyone knows of any. ;)!
 
o, damn! I was hoping you removed it, it would fit my sled, and you were dying to get rid of it for real cheap lol!

my viper is my first sled with reverse and i love it! it has saved me a lot of energy a few times. a little helpful hint though, go easy on the gas in reverse, she flies. i tried it once, got going too fast, hit the brakes hard and almost flipped it over backwards! ;):D #$%&*
 
lol! I am the only one in the family without it! girl rides moms old 00 sxr 600 with electric and reverse, mom has an 03 vmax 600 with electric and reverse, dads old sled is now the spare and it is an 02 vmax 600 with electric and reverse, and his current sled is an 05 vector ER. sucks being the only guy pulling and tugging at gas stations and at the house :(
