I have had many different SRX's apart and never had a problem with the coolant system beeing bled. Normally I put the carbs back on and re-fill it with coolant.. I run it and then check it and adjust if necessary. I drain the coolant by the bolt on the block.

All this being said.. I am getting ready to put my carbs back on this year and thought I should know the "right way" to do it. I always thought that If I run it and felt both running board coolers..and they got hot.. I was ok.. Is there a "Proper" procedure?? I see the viper procedure on the tech pages.. ??

take seat off.raise rear of sled i ft,take rear bleed bolt right out dont loose washer, undo cap pour in the juice and let it run out hole.put the bolt back in and tighten cap.start sled and let it idle untill it is hot.undue the bleed bolt and watch for bubbles, if the cap is turned half way out it will let the juice flow out mutch faster.so you do not want to do that if the coolant is hot.undoing the bleeder slowly and holding it over the hole on a angle will let the bubbles out.hope this helps
