just curious, i know the women are crazy about the day after thanksgiving, but do any aftermarket sled companies or what not do any kind of deals like this? what about online type deal? hey, its worth a shot!!! thanks!!!

I hate to admit it to you guys, but it's not just the women. My Dad and I have a Thanksgiving tradition where we get up early and run down to ACE Hardware and get all of the free stuff. Then we run to OfficeMax and Circuit City. I've gotten free visegrips, tape measures, drill bits, screwdriver bits, batteries, cordless screwdrivers, and hundreds of blank CD-R's just for getting up early.

dang, is that at all of those stores nationwide? we should post up the deals on the site so we know where to go. i could always use free stuff in exchange for sleep

Yup...Nationwide. I work at in retail, its crazy. People get up at 4 a.m. just to be the first through the door. Its not always first thing in the morning either. I work at Home Depot and we bring out stuff thru the day and sell it off cheap. Tools, appliances, what ever we have a ton of on hand. Just listen for the announcments thru out the day.
What makes it fun is all the old people getting crabby because they missed out on something.
