I have a bone to pick with the state of wisconsin DNR,
which I have aptly renamed Department of Natural Retards.

This past weekend I was riding and got stopped 5
different times by the same three officers checking
for trail permits. I know they are just doing there jobs
because weve had such a bad winter and they
have to up there revenue but come on
WTF they should give riders little flourescent
dots to stick on our windshields so they know
you have already gotten stopped or checked.
This was not up in the snowbelt this was central Wi.

Anyone else get stopped or more than me?

Gwen, were you riding over by Castle Rock Lake? I haven't even seen a DNR guy this season, but I haven't been over by the lake either. Later, Sxrlar.

Yes, around Castlerock Lake, mostly Juneau side, over by the Turtle,
Port O'Call/Gilligans Island on the trails that are next to county G. Also got stopped in Elroy twice and once in Necedah on trail through town.

Never got stopped once in Adams up on Petenwell or coming
back onto Castlerock up by Splash/Carlsons/County Z area.

I suppose they figure if they hang out near the bars they might catch a drunk rider. You'd think they would recognize the sled and the person driving it! Later, Sxrlar.

Gwen,

Maybe they were really trying to pick you up for a date and that was the only way they knew how to do it."

"Ya hey dare Fred, youse see dat hottie on dat SRX dare?" ""Aw cripes ya Ralph, let's stop her again dare!"

Ok, Ok, I'll take my twisted humnor and wander over to the RS Warrior forum now......
