Hey guys,

What your advice on jetting for my SLP's on a 02 viper. I have the CPR head mod, SLPs, and a fix powersports CAI. Stock, Fix jetted the mains at 160 or one step up from stock, pilots were stock 45.

If I want to jet for -10 degrees what do you reccomend with the CAI and CPR head mod. SLP suggests 165 for -20 degrees but if I add one step up for the CAI that would be 167.5 seems a little rich dont you think? Think 165 will be close to -10 with the CPR head and CAI?

Obviosly saftery is first priority and mileage a strong second. Thanks!

run what slp says and you'll be safe. it will run strong. 165 mains 47.5 pilots fuel screws 1 3/4 out (DO NOT RUN ANYTHING SMALLER THAN 47.5 PILOTS)!!!
I run the same set up and it work great. spin her at 87-8900 and it will fly. ski

So assume, that the CAi and CPR will not change jetting? Works for me, just need to figure out EGT soulution. Going to be exciting!

confirming that CAI and CPR head mod will not alter SLP jet specs.

Also confused with needle set up the instructions state:

"Below 0 degrees 499 Q-0 3.5 E-clip or above zero degrees 499 P-8 4 E-Clip"

What is the 499 P&Q mean? Part numbers for needles? I think the P-8 is stock so just go 4 on the e-clip? Thanks!

I think he gets around 10-11 mpg with his setup (ski that is ) And it fricken is a strong sled !!

i would say probably not, you could probably just raise them up another position, but ask ski and see what he thinks. I know SLP's specs are very good though, so run what they say for it.
