Hey , I am wondering if you can put triple SRX pipes on a stock Vmax 700. Will they fit under the hood?? And also how about the exhaust can. I know you can't get reverse on your SRX without grinding the chaincase cover a bit because of the size of the can.
Just wondering if it can be done and what other adjustments would be needed to get some hp out of it.
Thanks

Triple pipes?
I don't think they will fit, as the SRX hoos has a bubble on the right side to accomodate the pipes. Also the SRX is a powervalve motor, and the SX700 isn't. Not sure if it would run worth a damn even if they would fit. Probably not worth the time and money to try and make it work. If you want triple pipes, why not just buy an SRX and have all the power you'll ever need?? LOL Good luck.

just asking for a friend.
I already have a 2000 SRX 700 but a friend (who can't keep up) was looking for more hp out of his vmax700. I told him the same thing, buy one.
Thanks for the help

pipe the 700 non powervalves with aftermarket pipes or just get an srx. SRX pipes wont do much on a nonpowervalved 700, wont fit either.
