Hello,
I'm looking for an Elan in Ontario Canada. I know it seems odd, someone wanting an elan, but....
I want a cheap sled for my son and I to play on. My modded SXr is not safe for him.
Thanks for your help,
-Jon

I owned a pair of Skidoo Elans that I used as first sleds for my kids. Mine were the 250 twin with boggie wheel suspensions. In hindsight, while the kids could start the twin engine, the suspension could not be tuned to increase the ski presssure. As a result, my childred found them difficult to steer and control. After a couple of years of the Elans, I moved them to Yamaha Bravos. Wish I had started them there.

Elans
I would love a little bravo, but they are much more expensive than the elans. My son is too young to be out on his own. I just want something I can tow him in a sled with. My poweder machine would just throw too much snow.
A little elan is something we could both play on together.
