yea those things really are a joke, ESPECIALLY the plastic ones. They fall out within a day. Don't know how the billet ones are, probably better with the O ring to help hold it in and keep water out.

I had a set on my 00 Srx (alu. ones) I used clear silicone the seal them and keep them attached. Over 6000 miles with them. Sold the sled with them still on.

i still have the first set i bought from the 01 sxR. put1000 miles on it totalled it. bought an 01 srx and put them on it for 8000 more miles and then they ran almost 2000 miles on my viper last year. either you bought some super cheap ones, or they had flaws. mine are aluminum with a rubber oring holding them in place. they really finish off the trailing arms nice and work very well. ski

I just installed the chrome ones with the rubber o-ring. This thing is not falling out. I had to pound it in with a rubber mallet.

where did you get yours from? Maxx perf? Sno tek?

I got mine from Royal Distributing (Canada).
They have a location 20 minutes from my house. The trailing arm caps were 24.95 and the ski spindle caps are 12.95. The Chrome dresses the machine up real nice.

plastic ones with about 3000 miles, no glue, no silicon, and still going.
but because i just said that i'm going to the garage to silicon them, now.
