This is something I've been wondering for some time now but always forget to ask.
When I bought my sled a few years back, I was cleaning the carbs out to try and get the engine running smooth. I noticed that there are two small black plastic plugs that cover two of the holes on the bottom on either side of where the main jet is (when you take the bell off). I don't know very much about carburators so I alwasy put them back where they were when re-assembing.
As sort of a last resort I kept them out one time and this seemed to fix all my problems. After that the engine ran really good, and still does. (I try not to mess with it too much)
Since then I've bought a few more used sleds and have had to clean them out and I left the pulgs in the carbs and they run fine.
What are those little plugs for?
