I dont have a manual for the Viper I picked up this summer, but what are the parameters, specs for replacing the hyfax? Mine has 2k miles on it, not sure of the measurement though..

there is a scratch line down the length of them. if they are within a couple mm's of the line replace them.

I've always used the rule of thumb that if a 10mm open ended wrench will fit over the hyfax then it is time to replace them. They always wear faster near the curve at the front of your skid.

use the 10mm wrench way it works. Maxdlx

i drill holes in them so that you can flip the sled up and see exactly how much hyfax is left. Like said before, my '01 SX 700R with 5,600 miles still has the factory said of hyfax on it. They wear quickly down to a certain point and then stop as long as you ride in good conditions and have the skid set up right.

This is true,my friends vector wore down and then stopped, myself,I will replace if they get down that far,10mm open end wrench is the best way too gauge them though.

If they where replaced with aftermarket, they might not have a line. Maxdlx
