This is what ive got.
srx 700 with 1-3/4" track on a M10 suspension. This track has been studded before and they have been removed. The track is also missing about 6 lugs on the left side of the track, and isnt in the best of shape.
My dad has his stock viper track still in our garage...(1" lugs) and has offered it to me to throw on mine because of the shape of my track.
I do not do alot of backcountry riding, im mainly a trail person.
Should i swap the tracks?
How much of a speed difference is there going to be from the 1-3/4 down to the 1".
thanks

I would go for the swap as long as the 1" lug track is in good condition. From those two lug heights you can see as high as 5 MPH gain or possibly higher.

if u mostly ride trails, why would u have had a 1.75 track on it to begin with??? the shorter track would be better for trail riding....

got the sled on trade this past fall. it was already sporting the 1-3/4.
i think i may end up going with the 1" track and swapping back to the 9 tooth drivers.
