I am trying to mount my new skis but did not get any instructions.
I have ATS skis which have the same mount as the USI skis.
Does anybody know if i use the rubber stopper or just the bushing and bolt.
The rubber does not seem to git properly.

By the looks of it you will use your rubber bumper.Face the tall side forward. You might have to trim it down. You want some type of rubber so if you catch air the ski tips dont fall forward and dig in and make you crash.

thanks....crashing when I catch some air is not good.
I was not sure if these skis should of had the rubber stopper included or trim mine to fit.

They are made by Kimpex but are being sold under the name ATS since alot of people are afraid of the Kimpex name.
They seem like good skis compared to the stockers.
Wider, deeper keel and much lighter. Here in Ontario the price is right compared to C&A or other top brands.

I have them on my 97 SX. The mounts on mine are actually for the pre 97 sleds, but I think it only changes the width. I had to reverse the inserts and add some washers to make them fit on my spindles. As far as the rubber goes, I had to modify mine. They were too loose and would have fallen out if I had left them. I shimmed the bottom of the rubber up with pieces of an old belt I cut up. I glued them to the bottom of the rubber. I think I put a couple of stainless screws through the belt into the rubber to make sure it didn't fall apart. I also shaved one side down a bit to try and get the same carbide contact you get when you do the ski shim trick. It all has held together perfectly for the past three years. Seems to handle OK on the trails. Powder performance is so, so. They seem to like kicking up snow in your face pretty good. The biggest thing I don't like is the fact that they dropped the front of the sled down a good inch and a half. Make sure you put the long Cat carbides on them. I had the short Polaris easy steers at first and knocked two sets off in about 200 miles
I went out and snapped a pic for you. You can see the pieces of belt under the rubber bumper.
