can you reprogram the CDI box off a 97 sx 700 for racing purposes??????
or is that just for the newer sleds!!

As far sa I know there is no way to reprogram that processor .
You have to design and build your own, or find an aftermarket one that employs an EPROM chip. The problem is in finding the original schematics and design docs. Yamaha has locked down that info much more for obvious reasons.
