Went to check out my reeds today, but ran into a problem.
I stripped the 3 clamp screws that hold the boot on the reed covers.
Damn pain in the arse!
Can I just cut them off with side cutters and use regular hose clamps or should I order some factory ones?

i went to sears & bought new screws..just get the clamps off the boots & the screws off the clamp & replace. i used my calmps like that for about a year with using pilers to tighten & lossen the screws so i ended up having to cut the screws off but you get the ideal..

If you cant get those to work i have 3 brand new yamaha ones for $14 shipped.But you should be able to just get a bigger diameter screw and make them work.
