I'm a little confused when it comes to bleeding the coolant system on my 700MM. I made the mistake of removing my carbs with the rear lifted, spilling a small amount of fluid, but I also noticed that the fluid in my overflow bottle is now above the high line by 1 1/2 ". I assuming I have some air in the system, does this sound right??? I have warmed it up and ran it around but the coolant did not go down. When you lift the rear end, where do you add the coolant? The bleed hole? Thanks

the little bit of air you introduce when the carbs are off is minimal....if you are pushing the bottle full , either its a little high and the small bubble will work its way out or you might have a bad head gasket.....

Thanks, I haven't had a lick of trouble. I just pulled the carbs to lower the needles and this happened. When bleeding do you add coolant to the bleed hole? Isn't the sled to high(in the rear) to add coolant any where else? Thanks, Dallas Ps. I have never had my over heat light come...

bleeding means to purge the air out of the coolant system. You crack the bleeder open until antifreeze comes out and then tighten , then top of at the fill area near the over flow bottle.
