that kit will do the same as the rods on full transfer as far as stress on the rest of the suspension from what I understand.... yes, should get some decent transfer without them on max transfer. you will get even more from long traveling it with maxx performance kit for like $350 or so. thats what I did with my 97 600sx

I mean going from a 8" to the 11.5" rear travel. you get some transfer with the setup from maxx performance. I had it in mine, if you want to tailwalk get it and set the limiter straps LOOSE lol. I changed it as I couldnt corner and always ride trails, but it would give you a lot of transfer and more comfort. something to consider...

I know exactly what you mean about the maxx perf. long travel kit. My '01 SRX has that kit and bender rods and damn does that thing transfer, can't keep the skis on the ground, have to run it with about half transfer on the rods or less, pulled the limiters up some as well. GREAT kit for ride!!!

but if you saved the $50 rather than spend it poorly, you will be that much closer... christmas is around the corner

I dont think my parents would get me a 300 dollar present... we just got a new avalanche and i dont wanna stress them enough on a 300 dollar kit... but thanks for the suggestions guys

Either way, save the money for something useful

save the cash on the drop brackets and put it towards the long leg kit from maxx perf. it would suck, but you may have the cash to do it mid-winter. the drop brackets you were thinking just for looks from your other post, right? glad you decided on the rods instead of the kit though
good choice

Yea i just want the brackets for the looks

save the just for looks stuff till you have all the stuff on the sled that actually affects performance if you are on a tight budget. doesnt matter how cool it looks if it doesnt ride/handle/keep up. thats what I think anyway...........

yea i agree

exactly, better to keep your stuff stock looking and have something that will really wax a lot of other sleds out there because it is tuned perfectly. My stuff all looks basically stock but they run hard...
