HELP! Electric Start Removal HELP!

Reading all the other threads, I thaught this was going to be easy. Not so. Atleast not so for me. Snow is falling and I'm kind of screwd. :o|

I removed the battery, starter, and all lines connected to the two. I baught the smoothing condensors from Betheviper that I was informed I needed. I've read that all you have to do is remove the e.s. wiring harness and reconnect the two remaining ends. Now that everything is out, I see no obvious reconnect points. Also, there are no obvious connections for the condensors. I don't have to start cutting wires and splicing things do I? :o|

I'm in need of help bad. Hopefully I'm just having a brain fart and just missing something, but I've looked high and low for a common sense reconnect. :ORC

The sled is a 2004 Viper ER.

Hoping to resolve this soon so I can go riding this weekend.

You could try going into a Yamaha dealer and offering them $5-$10 for a photo copy from their technical update manual. The electric start and reverse install step by step instructions are in the tech. update manuals.

I have the manual on cd, I'll see if I can find it tomorow, and email it to you. Maxdlx

I have the basic service manual but can't make sense of the wiring diagrams. I'm beginning to believe splicing will be required. I'd hate to start cutting into the wrong wires. Looks like I'll have to look for a tech update manual.

Maxdlx, Which manual do you have? The service manual or Tech update manual?

Thanks guys

Thanks Maxdlx. Your help will be greatly appreciated. If there is any way you can get a photo of the wiring at the condensors, it may help solve everything.
