I put Speedwerx triples on my viper and they look and sound great. Speedwerx recommends 1.62 mains which I changed. They state no other mods are required. I know changing to a 1.65 main will make it a little richer which I guess I am concerned about burning up the motor due to changing temps. Can someone with more knowledge than I, fill me in on why the ambient temperature affects the jetting requirements? Any other advise would be appreciated.

In a nut shell, cooler air is more dense, more oxygen requires more fuel to retain the same air/fuel ratio. Colder it is the leaner your sled runs.
I see you're not a Wohlfeil's fan, lol.
So who do you deal with? Lindy's? Stevens?

Nobody. I am too scared to have someone else screw up my sled. I just pick y'all's brains and do it myself. That way if it is screwed up, it is my fault and I didn't pay some stupid *** to do it for me.
Thanks for the advise

Check your mid-range jetting as well. Vipers are known for mid-range meltdowns. I just piped my Viper with Aaens and I lowered my e-clips to run rich. Its easier to rejet leaner that replace pistons and cylinders.

I've never heard of a midrange meltdown.. But, I've read many of your posts and I'll say you seem to know what you're talking about.
