Exciter SX float spec..?

I set it to what it suggests for the V-max 5-600 twins... should be the same. Seing as they share the same carbs.

22mm +- 2 ? is that correct?

Mine was quite low @ around 16-17mm, I brought it back up.

sidenote, clean your carbs before the first ride poeple, I had quite a chunk of something in one main jet.

the flaot height for the sx is 21.5 to 23.5, (since I just looked it up in the manual that is still laying in my office since the last time I checked it for you LOL) that other spec is for the round slide carbs. And you don't check those upside down, you do it it on a 45 just when the floats touch the spring in the needle.
