Mr.sled on the tech page for oem specs you have 8ch for the factory belt on a 98 sx700 but,on the microfiche it has this PN8dn-17641-00.also for the rivets on the microfiche it has thease listed as the standard 10.3 std outer hole and 13.3mm std for the inner hole. am i running the wrong belt because i have been using the 8dn since i bought my sx700 new and that is the belt the dealer gave me? 
You are correct on the belt. I must have made a typo...97 sx700 used 8ch and 98 went to the 8dn much better belt. as far as the rivets I show in my spec book 13.9 in both holes of the 8ch weight. Does you sled overrev??? In my 99 book for the SX yes then you are completly correct unless I have a missprint in my books.
