Should i leave well enough alone....

My 04 viper s is totally stock and is over reving to 8900 rpm.Should i add the heavier rivets? I raced a few f7's and a saber cat 600 last year on lake of bays and took them all on the top end(119 mph indicated).I see alot of viper owners getting beat by 600's and f7's,Will i see much of an improvement if i get the rpms down to 8600 or should i leave well enough alone?

dial it in right you will probably not see any difference. but it wont hurt

Change the inner rivet from a 3.6 to a 4.5 gram. Top end will be about the same but getting up there will be better. Lower rpm,s = better accelleration.
