HAD PUT NEW PISTONS AND RINGS IN, DID NOT NOTICE THE KNOCK BEFORE I DROVE THE SLED. NOW IT DOES IT HOT OR COLD, MORE HOT.
IS SOMETHING WRONG OR IS THIS NORMAL??

usually piston slap will clear up as the motor warms up.
Forged Pistons Or Cast. My Forged Knock In Both Race Sleds Till They Get Warmed Up. Then When You Shut Them Down For A Few Then Start Back Up Sounds Bad Till Pistons Warm Up Then Goes Away . People Swear Crancks Are Going To Come Apart

WHEN HE [RENICKACELED] spelling?? THE CYLINDERS HE MIGHT OF MADE THE PISTON TO CYLINDERS WALL CLEARANCE A LITTLE LOSE?? I WILL HAVE TO YANK THE PIPES OFF AND TAKE A LOOK AN SEE IF THERE IS ANY MARKS ON THE PISTONS.

Tyler, could be that they set it up for a rapidly growing piston that could show itself out on the lake. I'd take the pipes off and take a look for yourself though.
