It is my understanding that the viper cdi and the srx cdi have the same timming curve except for the spike @ 8400-8500 on the viper cdi ..is that true ?? If i do run the srx cdi with all the proper jumper wires am i going to get the same performance with a trippple piped viper as i would with a viper cdi box ??? I thought the viper box spiked for the single pipe and since i run bender tripples i dont need the timming spike and since bender wants there pipes run @ 8700 rpms i wouldnt have to worry about the spike melting me down .......Scott ...Allen...Anybody..... HELP !!!

couldn't hurt
Viper box has 7-8 degrees more timing @ 8000 rpm, thats a huge difference. with the srx box you'll need to tighten up the squish a bit. I'm sure you could probably get some better mileage with that set-up.

So what's the deal with the jumper wire. I heard of it but don't believe been told exactly where it goes.
