Race

is ur sx a twin or tripple? my sxr 700 cant take my buddies f6 quick friging little bugger but my buddy had a 98 xc or xlt 600 triplle and it was a dog my 500 twin use to take it now problem. but im not sure about the F5 id say if u had ur clutch set up right u could take the XC but im not sure about the f5 there set up pretty quick. might get u if its over 1000 feet tho under taht witha good clucth set up i think u could

yea off teh line u should ahve him but it wont atke long for him to over come u i use to take my buddies ZRT600 and my buddies MXZ583 on my 500 but they smoked me in 1000 and my 500 was pretty high compression couldnt run under 91 oct in it

the fire cats are real quick hell ahve u up to anything under 1000 feet and after thast im not sure its alot lighetr then ur sled has better transfer adn there motor is right to the point. there hp/weight ratio is alot higher tehn a yamie pluse tehre clutchs are set up to be quick. all my buddy has was a can and 96 studs i have 144 studs and 388 dirt bike studs in teh top of the lugs for teh ice drags and he was hittin 86 in 1000 and i couldnt break 81

better make sure you have great hook up off the line.
If the 700 tripple is set up he will smoke you. Does not need to pipe it either.
My 700 beat the 600 twin everytime. I am clutched with thin headgasket and reed spacers. The 600 twin had thin head gasket and Wiesco racing pistons.
Not a very close race either.

i hear that...BUT...when i had my 600sx, with clutches done, studded track, transfer rods and reed spacers, i was eatin up ZR700's all day long...but i was a triple, so guess that helped :yam:

the 99 XC 700 is a twin, and they are fast when setup correctly. Sorry, but unless that 600 twin is dialed perfectly and there is something wrong with that 700, he's got it. Those big block polaris twins are very torquey as well, they definately shined in their day. The F6 will give you the same headache, same power as the big block 700 with even lighter weight.

you have a better chance with the SX600 tripple then the twin 600.
LIke Holic said unless there is something wrong with these other sleds I would not put any money on it.

i know i can take the F5 but im just curious bout the 700 he isnt studding it either... i just wanna take the 700 in the first few hundred feet which i believe will happen

the bottom end on the poo big block's is much more impressive than the top end. If he has good traction look out.

thats the thing tho its gonna be on a lake and hes just gonna be spinning there with no studs on his track he doesnt got anything to get that power to the ground
