I have a 2002 srx and was thinking about putting M10 suspension under it. I was told by my dealer that if I go that route I will loose any holeshot I have and some of the top speed. Is that true???? I know alot of you guys have done this before.

Not sure about the hole shot, but you will loose some on the top end
I rub M10s in both my sleds and yes, top end loss and hole shot loss, its a trails suspension not race....thats the only thing I can say....you will love the ride

m10
we stuck an m10 in a 01 mmax 156,and Steve loved the ride. I dont reccomend it, they are outdated now, and heavy. I didnt like the ride nearly as much as him, but the owner always gets used to the sled more than a guy that tries it once or twice. If you can get a used one very cheap that needs no repairs, it may be worth looking into.

M 10 W
I installed an M 10 W 151 on my SXR and the ride is somewhat better, not as much as I hoped and not worth the 3,000 Canadien dollars. It weighs 71 Lbs with mounting kit.
As for holeshot and taking off in deep snow it doesn't transfer as well and spins more and doesn't highmark as well as the stock 00 MM railed suspensions. I tell my WIFE it was worth it, to you guys remember the new suspensions tuned properly will save you money and pain. For older nonadjustable suspensions it will be a lot better.
Mine was the 01 Sxr suspension with 00 141 MM rails revalved twice to soften for my weight.

I have a 01 sxr 700 put in a M-10 at 500 miles...was the best upgrade for that sled. Did not lose top end. Hole shot was maybe impared a small amount. But the best thing you can do, is do install it, and you well definitly notice one of the best improvments you could ever make on that sled.
