motor cuts out when you crack throttle at 3000 rpm and i disconted the t.p.s and still does it. I have boyeson power reeds in it and wiseco pistons in it and it cut out before mods were performed. I was also wondering how much jetting would i have to do if i bought a dg pipe and i was wondering about the aaen hot air release duct and if i can still get it. One more thing it was jetted to iowa and south dakota specs. I slightly ajusted the pilot jet a 1/4 turn after reeds were installed.

Sounds like it has a lean spot. Asuming the carbs are clean, there is a service bulletin for tuning the mid-range on Phazer carbs. There is a copy of it in the tech pages in the engine's section. It give's tuning information for getting rid of the mid-range lean spot, that can accure when modifing Phazer motor's, ie. pipes, porting, reeds,etc.
