Has anyone made a bracket that accepts the clevis mount Viper shock on SRX or changed the Clevis mount to an eye mount on the shock? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I will try to get a better pictures up, but basically what i did was press the clevis mount in a vise against the aluminum spacer, added nylon washers and used a nylon lock nut, not to tight to allow movement. I picked up the spacers from a buddy who put Viper shocks on his SX, they came out of the top mount, worked out pretty good for me!............James

won't that wear the hole in an oblong shape?
Won't that allow the bolt to move up and down and eventually slot the pieces??

I have thought if that, the bolt is snug in there but i may look at inserting a metal busing like in the ski mount, would have to enlarge the hole in my spacer and the shock mount, if i remember Maddog had a friend who did this last year they claimed no problems, but this is all work in progress...........James
Oh, i just though of something, i also got from that SX the upper shock bushing, the one with rubber and metal bushing, i might look at that, may have grind the ends off little to fit the pressed mount i modified but that might be the cat's a$$.....James

Anyone Ever Put The Viper Shocks In Upside Down With Clevis Bolting To Trailing Arm With Modified Alum. Bushing?
