I had noticed the brake disc on my 98 sx 700 was really sloppy.so i took it all apart and found the Key (sliding) that go's in the key way on the jack shaft(brake side) was worn, also notice the upper and lower collars were scored,so the following parts were replaced.

Key(Sliding) PN90281-07004-00 $3.38
Circlip,Stype PN93410-27080-00 $0.91
Washer,Plate PN90201-27OU5-00 $1.48
O-Ring Qty.2 PN93210-25071-00 $4.40
Collar PN90387-2508C-00 $9.74 (drive axle)
Collar PN90387-2511J-00 $10.59 (jackshaft)
Shipping cost 8.00
i order thease parts from www.xtremepowersports.com

when i got it all back together i notice the brake lever was a hell of alot firmer and stopping power was vastly improved.

so check this out if your rotor is sloppy you may have the same situation i did, especialy if you have alot of miles on your sled or you brake hard alot
