My first ride should be Dec. 27 thru the 30th. If Wisconsin has snow we will be up in Crivitz. If not we will be going to Gwinn Mi. Maybe I will run into a few of you TY guys.
 
The dates we will be on the Sleds are

Dec 27-31 05 St Germain
Jan 11-15 06 TY Ride
Feb 1-5 06 St Gremain
March 2-5 St Germain

It would be nice to run into some of the guys :yrules:
 
hey i'm from crivitz, if their is snow i'll be out riding maybe we can hook up, most likely though their will be no snow. where do you usually stay up their?
 
We stay at the Capri ( $40 a night) hotel. We put on between 250 and 300 miles a day. We only stop to eat breakfast, lunch and get fuel. Go to sleep, wake up and do it again. Last ride in Crivitz was 580 miles for two days. Not a lot of people like to ride like that. They want to make a mini vacation out of it. Not me. I can drink any day anywhere. I can relax and have dinner when I’m at home. I wait all year to go on 3 or 4 rides and I want to spend every second of that doing Mach 1 with my hair on fire. Ill sleep when I’m dead. Where do you stay?

Well said, and i completely agree. We put on between 250 and 350 miles everyday, with some days being around 400. I LIVE to ride, and that is what i intend to do everytime i load up and head north. Unfortunately, not enough good snow in wisconsin and too many idiots that tear up the trails, so we always head to northern UP, except for a few late season trips to our cabin in Hazelhurst (just south of minocqua)
 
i have a place up by hilltop resort by twin bridge on high fall's flowage , i ride from there alot if their is enough snow, plus my mom's got a place on the northeast corner of lake noquebay, on the weekends or when the trails are all beat i'll stay their it seems the trails don't pounded as much. i usually do alot of riding also, leave early in the morning and don't get back until late. let me know if you get up their anytime maybe we can hook up and do some riding!
 
we will be in Baraga Jan 2-6 if anyone wants to come up and do some good riding. We stay in Baraga because if its central location to some GREAT area's, such as the porkies, the keweenaw and copper harbor, as well as ishpeming, big bay, and marquette. Always do some real big days. Going to see if i can make munising and back in a day trip this year, that should be a good one ;)!

Mr. Sled I can’t have you making comments like that, the kids are so wound up for that week, I would almost think they are looking more forward to that than Christmas….LOL.

Therefore I will request you stay positive and state “seeing how there will be plenty of snow that week I think we might be there also” or something along those lines. LOL ;)!
